I order from them all of the time and had the worst experience ever speaking with the owner Steve. I originally called to make a complaint about how every time I order it’s barely chili or cheese on the chili cheese fries so I pay for extra and each time I receive my order it’s still barely any chili or cheese. Immediately the owners response was well I know for a fact nothing leaves here with barely anything on it and asked if I could bring them in. No car and was on lunch and never requested a refund originally but was on the phone listening to the owner tell me it’s not logical to ask for a refund with no proof and the entire time I was on the phone I couldn’t even finish a sentence. Terrible owner customer service and didn’t even bother to offer a resolution and I order from them more than 1 time a week. Coney fries are always dry and even when you pay for extra still only gets bare minimum but no issues with me paying for food I expect to be received the way I ordered it.

SMH .... I ordered RYE TOAST with my omelet and I got WHITE TOAST, to top it off I had to put the toast in my toaster at home .. To finish the COOKS JOB !!!!!!!! the 3 meat & cheese omelet wasn't worth the $9.50 I paid , the 3 meats in it looked it was put in a blender nothing but mush .. a 3 meat omelet should be chunky not mush .. Bottom line this place isn't worth it
I'll be going to Zorbas coney island instead of Riverside Coney ...

Don’t eat there I bought a Cobb salad. It looked like it was made yesterday the chicken was old and hard. and I payed 13 and gave a tip. I left the salad on the counter they refuse to make me another or give me my money back. So I guess they got me for 15 thats with a tip. The first two salad was there’s and the other two salads where I went some where else alpha coney on fort street in Detroit. I called my order in it was a take out.

Never in my life have i ever got an order of cheese sticks and there be absolutely zero cheese pull. The texture is pure junk. These have to be THE CHEAPEST cheese sticks the place can find. Idk how this place stays in business.

Don’t go here first the waitress is rude second I ordered a full order of pancakes with meat off the menu it was priced at 7.99 she rings up my order and charges me an $2.50 cents saying the menu price isn’t right I said well you guys should get some updated menus I’m not paying over 10 for 3 pancakes and four strips of bacon that’s ridiculous and the food not that good anyways it just the closet Coney Island near me right smh never coming here again they are ripping you off and remind you it’s 9am so where’s the early bird specials? They charging late night prices smh

I bought a grilled chicken pita from here nd while I was eating my sandwich I noticed that my lettuce was old I called up there the boss told me to bring the food back when I got up there then I was told that I can’t get a refund because I ate it but I explained to him that I was eating when I noticed it and then he told me lettuce gets brown and soggy after being on chicken but not one piece of lettuce was nice and crunchy. DO NOT ENTER THIS PLACE YOU WILL NOT RECEIVE A RFUND IF YOUR FOOD IS IMPROPERLY COOKED

This was one of my childhood coneys we used to come here all the time when I was a kid, and just within the past year I paid them a visit again numerous times and nothing has changed still excellent and quick service, and the same quality at a low price. I love this little place and Im glad to see them still thriving throughout all these years.

After my wife purchased souvenirs we met next door at Riverside Coney Island. I created the Poundtown Burger 😋💯🍔 Wowed, Double Bacon Cheeseburger I added Gyro Meat n Feta 🤤. Yes I devoured the whole thing, what a fantastic 😊 Burger 🍔. The owner himself was happy to make this for me, you want one just ask for the Poundtown Burger 😋. She had a fantastic Omelette with Taters spot on wonderful 👍.
