Beardslee's

Went for breakfast. The place was busy but we got right in. The waitress was quick to great us. Got our drinks and order in fast. There were several larger groups of 6 or more. Our food was a little slow at getting out. But it was hot. I will add that portions are very good for the price. I have to say that the taste of my Leroy omelet which had ham, potatoes, onions, green peppers, mushrooms and cheese was lacking flavor. We were greeted immediately. This is a rustic older establisment. We ordered corned beef hash with eggs and french toast with bacon. We were not dissappointed. The french toast was made with thick homemade bread and the bacon thick and well cooked. Would stop again when we are in the area.

The food was excellent... home made bread and - everything! All 5 of us were completely surprised at how great our food was. Everything was larger than we had expected too. My cherry cheesecake was delicious! The waitress came several times to be certain we were happy and made us laugh too. We live about 2 hours away but will definitely go back whenever we can.
