Classic breakfast combos and omelets are great! Classic breakfast diner 👍👍
Wow—easily the best breakfast spot I’ve ever been to! I’m honestly bummed we don’t have one in Ohio. I loved that you can choose pancakes or toast with your omelette—definitely go for the pancakes, they’re incredible. My daughter-in-law had the lemon blueberry pancake special and couldn’t stop raving about it. We ate here twice during our trip because it was just that good. Out of all the places we tried this week, this was my #1. The locals are lucky to have this gem!
Since new ownership has taken oven in Dec 24' the atmosphere has improved, and the service is great!
The rotating specials are fresh new ideas and are delicious!
Small little quiet restaurant. Had a really good German omelette!
Very clean pleasant place to eat
We came in with our 18 month old. Servers were extremely friendly and accommodating. Coffee was excellent. I had the shipwreck hashbrowns with an egg added and it was delicious. This is a great no frills, affordable breakfast and lunch spots.
not sure what is happening at the Lighthouse Cafe recently but something has changed and it's not good. The portions have gotten smaller which is a mute point but the food doesn't taste nearly as good as it used to and my wife and I both got sick with food poising the last time we ate there. The coffee is now terrible and it's no fun leaving hungry with a bad taste in your mouth, after several years of loving the place we will not be returning.
Delicious breakfast.

Lovely old-school diner adapting to the 21st century with wireless pagers for waiting patrons. We split the full Davy Jones' Locker plate, biscuits and sausage gravy with fried chicken tenderloin slices on top. It was delectable and a generous enough portion to split. I'd skip the insipid orange juice next time in favor of the excellent coffee, though.
Poorly run establishment. Greasy food and lousy service. Tacky lighthouse theme and toilets that smell
like colon cancer. If misfortune puts you inside this restaurant you had better bring more time and patience than I had. 100% not worth the wait.

We arrived about 15 minutes early to the opening of the cafe. There were already 1/2 dozen people waiting, which was the first good sign! I had called ahead as we had a large group (12), and even though they didn't take a reservation as such, they were ready to seat us right away.
Food was great! Everything was very tasty, and the hot things were served HOT - not lukewarm. Service was right on - our waitress was always on top of things, and right there with water, coffee, or anything else we needed.
The place is kinda small, so be prepared to wait when it's busy. But it's definitely worth it!
