“Ordered the chicken Marsala which was delicious. Except for the spaghetti which was over cooked which caused it to breakdown into tiny pieces. My husband’s dinner was fabulous.Our waiter who was Michael was exceptional. We will return because the food is delicious, I just hope the spaghetti will be prepared “al dente”. The carrot cake was heavenly.”

“I'd been wanting to check out Five Shores for awhile, and since we were going to be passing through the area, I suggested to my wife that we stop and check it out.It was a Monday in late November, and they had only been open for maybe 15-20 minutes, but there was already a small handful of people, so that was a good sign (I imagine they get very busy in the Summer).We ordered the Chili Cheese Pretzel Nugs to share (delicious), and a beer flight to sample. We enjoyed everything we tried, but because I still had some driving to do, we decided on some beers to go (my wife really enjoyed the brown ale, and I made sure to grab a couple of Harvest Machine hazy IPAs).I don't remember the names of the guys behind the counter, but they were warm and friendly, and answered any questions I had and made suggestions as well.We will definitely be back!NOTE:It was nice to see that they have games in house, so don't be afraid to bring the kids.”

“We have stopped into Stormcloud many times over the years and can say it has been consistently great. Stormcloud is one of our favorite breweries in Michigan. Their winter food and beer menu are great. We enjoyed the baked brie with cranberry apple jam. For dinner we had the okey dokey artichokey sandwich with chips and pickle slices and the southwest club. Both were tasty. The chips are delicious with great flavor and the pickles were also tasty and unique.”

“Mary's Asian cuisine was delicious! The food was hot and so yummy. Mary is a wonderful lady and she was so nice. She has the cutest little food truck. “This is for the restaurant. It is The Nautical Grill & Spirits in The Frankfort Hotel. A really stand out place! The broiled whitefish with dill was seasoned perfectly. The ribeye was also very good. The butternut squash puree was wonderful. Everything was excellent. I think the restaurant should have a separate Yelp entry so it will not be confused with the hotel reviews.”

“Can’t complain! Got a bagel to go for breakfast while staying in town for vacation. I had a Lox, egg and cheese bagel with sun dried tomato cream cheese added (sesame seed bagel at the suggestion of the counter guy). It was SO phat and SO filling. I was good all the way until dinner! You definitely get what you pay for. Thank you!”

“One of my wife's favourite breakfast spots. We take lots of friends here. Staff relations is a bit of a mixed bag, and from the reviews here I see that to be a trend, as a business owner I do hope they try to work on that, but I love the spot and always like my meal. The pancakes are served as a side with most breakfasts and I recommend you get those over the toast. You will be happy you did. Great view of the lake if you are at the front table or outside. I recommend you stop by and give them a try!”

“We love Kilwins, whether it is in Frankfort, Traverse City, Fort Lauderdale. The chocolate is made to perfection and served up quickly with a smile. The store is always clean and tidy. I love the over the top gourmet apples on a stick dipped in chocolate and garnished with yummy nuts & caramel. I always grab some chocolate by the pound. Be sure to stop in Kilwins. It's a Michigan staple.”

“Although the season has dropped the tourists, I always try to go into the pub when I'm in Frankfort in the Fall. It's peaceful, quiet. The food is a bit pricey, but very good for pub menu. Staff is fun and hometown people. Sports were playing on the big screen! Nice place!”

They had a creative menu with flavors that actually deliver. My husband got the Cuban chimichanga and was very pleased! I tried 3 different signature cocktails and each one was presented beautifully and had its own notable flavor. We will definitely be back!”
