Lovely old-school diner adapting to the 21st century with wireless pagers for waiting patrons. We split the full Davy Jones' Locker plate, biscuits and sausage gravy with fried chicken tenderloin slices on top. It was delectable and a generous enough portion to split. I'd skip the insipid orange juice next time in favor of the excellent coffee, though.
We arrived about 15 minutes early to the opening of the cafe. There were already 1/2 dozen people waiting, which was the first good sign! I had called ahead as we had a large group (12), and even though they didn't take a reservation as such, they were ready to seat us right away.
Food was great! Everything was very tasty, and the hot things were served HOT - not lukewarm. Service was right on - our waitress was always on top of things, and right there with water,...
By far the best breakfast we’ve ever had. Have been visiting from New Jersey for years and Lighthouse is our go to breakfast spot! If we have a 5 day trip, we will be at Lighthouse 5 mornings in a row. Phenomenal breakfast, great service, and can’t beat the price. Pancakes and hashbrowns are a must
