Though the food is just okay, this place gets 4 stars for having a separate veg/vegan menu where options are clearly marked. In a small tourist town, this is really great. Fun atmosphere and cocktails, too.

I’m a long time fan of Pearl’s but my recent visit wasn’t great.
Cold food (gumbo, grits and red beans & rice).
The bartender kept blowing her nose behind the bar and not washing her hands.
After a $100 tab, this was a bummer.

Food is always amazing, staff is always amazing. We had a one time issue this last visit where the food took way longer than normal. Our server was on it, gave us free cups of gumbo, and compensated our bill, all without us asking. We love this place!

I've been to New Orleans. And i have to say this is close to the atmosphere I've seen in Michigan. Jambalaya was great, and so was the fried tomatoes prefect place to have dinner.
