Short's Brewing Co. Pull Barn Tap Room & Production Brewery (Elk Rapids)

Great service and food trucks.

We stopped by last Tuesday night, and the bartender, Paulina, was an absolute delight! Chill vibes and friendly service. She made our first visit amazing, let us try beer and provided great recommendations to non-beer drinkers. we will be back!

What a fun night! Great location! Lots of seating outside! Awesome beers and ciders! Loved the live music!

Pretty cool environment, decent beer, enough parking. The particular live entertainment needed to get his guitar worked on (buzzing frets), but not too bad.

Great atmosphere , live music, fantastic food at the food truck, and of course some of the best local brews you can ask for!

I am less and less impressed with Shorts Brewery. First they made their menu at Shorts Bellaire as unsatisfsctory to vegetarian/vegan diets as it could be, and a visit to the Elk Rapids location was also disappointing. The bartender, who was understandably busy, could not answer a question (any question) about the beer offerings, just kept referring me to the lengthy list of offerings on the chalkboard (which did not include IBU) while people kept lining up behind me. I gave up and just say down with my party, doing an internet search to determine which of their offerings was the lowest IBU then getting in line again to order that. First I've ever encountered someone behind the bar at Shorts that couldn't answer that question.

One of the best local and destination places around. Have been coming here for years and the service is unbelievable, outdoor patio great, and amazing beer. It’s a staple for a reason. You should stop in.

Awesome beer! Great atmosphere! However a Crabby server named Topher..... otherwise it would of been 5 stars!

Awesome brews and crew. Osario's and Flannigan's Goat serve up some very tasty food. Great indoor/ outdoor venue. Summertime music is great too. The customers are friendly and fun. I highly recommend both of Short's facilities. So thankful that we have this in Elk Rapids.

I finally had the chance to visit a Short’s Brewing location after having tried their beer for years. The tap room has some beers that aren’t usually available for purchase elsewhere, and I was happy with the flight I ordered. Of the beers I tried, the Pure Michigan Porter was my favorite, but they were all pretty good. There was plenty of space for seating outside, and the staff was helpful. It wasn’t too busy during my visit, but I could see this being a pretty popular place. It looks like they get regular food trucks too. If you like Short’s Brewing’s beers, it’s definitely worth the trip to get here.
