Great food, great cider, great snacks, and a fun selection of gifts in back. I can recommend the cherry chicken salad wrap and a beverage that is half apple cider, half tart cherry. The farm market is downstairs, and I also got a cherry slushie for the road, which was just the thing except it gave me brain freeze!
Great place to stop and shop, nice green house. Great foods to purchase, delicious cookies, pies. Great gifts to buy for those special in your life. Beautiful garden outside the store. Wine tasting area behind the store. I would encourage everyone to visit.
Lots going on in this humble roadside mom&pop, but let’s just address the baked goods. It’s so great that corporate store-bought pies are so shitty; because when you find real Midwest bakers who won’t sell you anything they wouldn’t bake for their family, it tastes that much more glorious. Every recipe and its execution here sings the praises of our Lord and Savior.
