This was a delight to stumble upon. Vegan items were clearly labeled and they had a selection of options to choose from.
They had a few desert bars in the frozen cooler marked with āDā for dairy free, had some traditional chocolate bars on the shelves, and even 5-6 versions of the small truffle bites in different flavors.
10/10 recommend and would come back. Seeing ethical and fair trade chocolate is such a rarity and well worth the stop.
What a special place. You can find out where they source all their ingredients. The people and shop are lovely. You can find specialty chocolates, bars, caramels, fudgecicles, gelato, chocolate chip cookies, chocolate-covered goods. It's a great spot for gifts or a special treat. It's not a big shop, but there are a couple tables and hot drinks with wifi as well if you'd like to stop in for a little while. I highly recommend if you are in the Traverse City or Sleeping...
We love Grocer's daughter chocolates. I can't eat Reese's peanut butter cups after having their peanut butter pucks. Their mochas with dark chocolate, chef's kiss!
