I never order omelets (because they are never done well) but they had one with spinach amd mushrooms that intrigued me ....one of the best I've have ever had! Excellent homemade toast with a great variety of bread to choose from. Very friendly service.

We have been going to the UP for years and somehow missed this excellent breakfast spot. The restaurant was very clean upon entering and being seated. The waitress was very friendly and immediately took our drink orders. The coffee was excellent, and she kept the cup full. I had eggs over easy, hash browns, bacon and a pancake. They were all excellent and cooked to perfection. My wife had scrambled eggs, bacon, diced potatoes and delicious homemade bread with homemade strawberry jam. ( at least we are pretty sure it was homemade. It was that good!) The prices were better than most restaurants that have lesser quality. We will be stopping by The Beary Patch regularly, on our return trips. We very highly recommend!

Stopped by for breakfast on the way back from Sault Ste Marie. It was pretty much the only place we saw for about 100 miles. We were hoping for the best as we were hungry. We got a real winner with this one. Homemade bread and delicious omelets, coffee that was fresh and delicious. Smiling service and a cute decor.
