Stopped here on our way from the UP to Traverse City for lunch. Very clean, friendly and comfortable place. Nice spacing for COVID concerns and the food was outstanding. I had a sandwich called, I think, Slim Sam and it was truly a great sandwich. Highly recommend this diner if in the area. Very friendly, fast and delicious food.
We were in the area during the COVID-19 Labor Day Weekend. We had been to the Mystery Spot and decided to take in a 2:00 PM lunch at The Gangplank as they had good reviews. They do not have many tables so we had to wait a few minutes for a second table as we had such a large group. Fantastic pizza! (Located in the store by the Sunoco Station.) Highly recommend the garlic cheese bread, too! Always wonderful food, and service! A quick trip off US2, the Garfield Township Mill Pond Park, is right there to take a break, enjoy Engadine, and a great pizza!
