The other reviews are very correct. We arrived at just before 8 on a Saturday as the second table. Within 20 minutes every table was full. The secret is out, this place is popular and for good reason. The food was so good, homemade bread even, so fresh!!! If you are in the area, I highly recommend stopping here to eat.
Typical small mom and pop restaurant in the UP. Pulling up it doesn't look like much. However the food and service was excellent. I had the Popeye omelet with the really good rye bread.
Me and my 2 grandkids went there while traveling. The food was ok, I ordered a BLT and it was the smallest BLT Ive ever seen. It tasted good but I was still hungry. The omelette my grandson ordered was plenty and looked and tasted good. The cheese sticks my granddaughter ordered were plenty but a little overcooked. The service was adequate but not especially friendly, maybe she was having a bad day? I would go back, it wasn't a bad experience but just average. The prices...
