“I have ate at this place two times and have not been disappointed. Food is awesome home cooked food with love. Service is great. The lovely woman who had served us, both times, makes you feel like you have known her for years. You never have to wait on food. Andy's also has daily specials not just for breakfast but for lunch. Best food I have had in Escanaba so far. Will definitely visit again and recommend.“
“The Bungalow is one of the places that is consistently mentioned among the top fish fries by locals but, despite being a local myself, I have somehow managed to have not been here. I could see how visitors could have a hard time finding this place. So, the food... We went there on a Friday for the fish fry. I had beer battered whitefish and my better half had the broiled half and half (half perch and half shrimp). We both agreed that our fish and get shrimp were very good. The portion of perch she received was a little wanting though. The slaw and potato salad were both very good. The beans were good but came lukewarm like they had been microwaved. I'd rather has cold beans or hot ones but warm ones that are cold in the middle aren't great. The fries left a lot to be desired. Kind of soggy and a lot of little bits in both our orders. The service was very friendly but there was some confusion because our order was brought by a different waitress than the one who took our order so when I asked a question she couldn't answer it. It's a personal thing but I like having the same server throughout. I know, picky right? They did a fun little thing and gave us a "shot of dessert". Basically a piece of cookie in a shot glass. Just a little sweet to wrap up your meal. Nice touch. Overall, I would definitely go back and would recommend this place simply on the strength of the fish and hope that the little issues I had were just flukes. When I go back if things are different I will definitely let you know here but for now, go and enjoy some fish. 3.6 stars“
“Had my first Rosy's experience today and I was extremely impressed. The staff worked so well together and treated every customer like they were a regular. They were very busy with dine-in and takeout orders but handled it so well. And the food was delicious!! It was really cool to see other customers also commenting on how well the restaurant was run. I will definitely be eating there again next time I'm in Escanaba. Highly recommend to anyone.“
