Such a Great Brewery… And they’re a Harvest Host.
When I first got there, walked up to the counter and met Kylie, I knew this was going to be a good stay. I told Kylie that I was a Harvest Host guest, she gave me a big smile and welcomed me to the brewery.

Upper Hand Brewery is a cozy spot near the airport in Escanaba, offering amazing beers and a friendly atmosphere. They host events like trivia night, brewery tours, and live music, with a helpful and kind staff. The small inside seating area is perfect for enjoying their good beer, which is solid across the board — smooth, flavorful, and super easy to drink. The spotless bathrooms and dog-friendly policy make it a great place to visit. The atmosphere is welcoming and the whole experience is top notch. Visitors often enjoy the Esky Black Bear, Escanaba Black Beer, UPA, and Laughing Fish, with many appreciating the great vibe and seltzers. The staff provides excellent service by helping guests find the perfect flight. The brewery has a great community vibe and represents the U.P. with love and authenticity.
