The cinnamon braid and apple braid are delicious! They are the absolute best fundraiser food we’ve ever purchased. Easy to make and bake following the directions on the package. We’re hoping the Boy Scout Troop sells them again soon.
My 4 year old son got roped into this fundraiser at school. Sold $105 worth of the stuff and received a Ziploc bag with a 1x1 inch sticker, and a 5 cent eraser sized piece of scented clay...form states "Try to sell 25 butter braid pastries per member (that's 375$)"
Kid learned a valuable lesson about this type of "fundraising" 🙄
I understand the money raised likely goes to a good cause but disappointing a pre k kid to this extent is kinda sad.
I think its great, but I want to buy them pre made online as well because they aren't the same when made at home compared to having samples and for people who live far away and don't have time to cook. But over all butter braids are amazing.
