Great place. We stopped on our fall drive. Our waitress was really friendly. Even though we didn't order breakfast, it is available all day. ordered Cod, Wings and Nuggets. So good!! Glad I have leftovers.
My husband and I rode to Evart, on our bikes, and were looking for a place for lunch. We stumbled across Lamplighter and decided to go in and place an order. We ordered a BLT and a club sandwich. Both came with potato chips and we upgraded one to fries. Food was very good. The best part was the service we received. The waitress was kind, considerate, helpful, and friendly. The food was ok. We both had Farmer's Omelettes with Sausage Gravy for lunch, and while I have had better in larger cities and towns here in MI, for this small of a town it was ok. We did have to ask for my ice water a second time however. Typically at a restaurant when you first get seated; you get menus, silverware w/napkins and ice water. Then you take the order of a drink.
