Hidden gem is right: this was our first time eating Georgian food, and At Ananos did not disappoint! Everything was fresh, delicious, beautifully presented and the owner (I assume she is the owner) was super warm and sweet. Food came out quickly and restaurant is super cute. It's tucked away in a strip mall on the corner of orchard lake and 13 so it's hard to miss - but try not to! Well worth it. So good and we will definitely be coming back.
I recently went here with a family member, and we loved it! We couldn't get Georgian food anywhere else (even though we live close), and it was a delight to have some Georgian favorites! We got the same food, which we both shared!
Ananos is such a special place! One can imagine communist dignitaries being offered such a feast when they visited Georgia in the olden days! Seriously the best salmon and potatoes I ever had! Salmon was crispy and tender while being juicy on the inside. The potatoes were fried with some fresh dill and were amazing. The traditional Georgian salad was a meal on its own. We had one of those long European dinners (we brought our own wine) and before we knew it, it was 9 o'clock....
