A pretty decent diner seemingly stuck in the middle of a restaurant/ fast food void on Grand River. The grilled ham and cheese sandwich was the best that I've ever had. Who would have thought that you could have a stacked ham and cheese with mayo, lettuce and tomato, coupled with a huge portion of pickles for only $7.95? I'm in awe and I'll definitely be back when I'm in the area!
We ordered waffles with strawberries, the corned beef skillet and steak & eggs with grits for delivery. Steak was over requested temp, but well seasoned and edible. Hard to control with delivery, so I won't subtract stars for that. Grits were well cooked, but could have been better seasoned. Waffles were nothing special. They have the best skillets I have ever tried, hands down. Other than my daughter's french toast and this breakfast spot in Lincoln Park in Chicago, they have the best french toast also. Great service, the waitress staff are awesome.
