I highly don’t recommend food here. Non-veg is worst there served me two days back chicken anyone can say it has been re-heated many times just by looking at the muscle. Taste is awful and smelly 😣 NOT RECOMMENDED. Waste of money.

Absolutely ridiculous how good it was, with massive portions we weren't prepared for, ordering so many things. The biggest tragedy is us not living closer or it would be our go-to desi place. Like, the naan alone was the best either of us had ever had, so fluffy yet crispy, and you get so much of it. I had the konaseema goat biryani, et mon dieu. C'était tellement fantastique. The meat was so tender, and the rice immensely punchy with taste. The spice of everything matched beautifully with flavor, especially with the gobi that also remained so crispy. Not to mention, the owners were so polite and attentive. A diamond in the rough that is the West Bloomfield area that is so afraid of flavor.

I just ordered for the first time and they cancelled my order. This is extremely rude and unprofessional. I DON'T RECOMMEND TO ANYBODY.

We went with family for Saturday lunch buffet. Their spread was limited, but the food was great! Very unique and native to Andhra cuisine. Loved their Tandoori chicken, Chicken Kari veppudu, chicken biriyani, rasam, veg masala, which were all authentic, fresh and very tasty. Those who like spicy food will love this place. Great hosts. Were very warm in receiving.

The food was good, not mind blowing but decent. The service was meh. The kids show playing on the tv at regular volume over everything else was annoying.

Desi Licious, Indian Restaurant in Farmington Hills is a hidden gem worth trying. It offers a wide variety of authentic dishes. Their buffet lunch spread is good but leave a lot to desire. I tried the Saturday buffet lunch in a get-together of four. The Achari Chicken stood out with its flavor and spices. The Mixed Veg Curry was delicious and satisfying. The Dal was prepared well, a nice addition to the buffet. The Hyderabadi Chicken Dum Biryani was average. The Butter Chicken was okay, but not exceptional. The Aloo Gobi was just okay, not a bad dish.
The ambience and atmosphere were cozy and we were the only other group having lunch at the place. I would expect more customers to be there on a Saturday but given that the Hindu Navratri events are ongoing at various places around the town, could be reason for low footfalls. The staff is friendly and attentive and there is a free parking lot.
Overall it was a great value for Indian food lovers at the price of $18.99 per person for the weekend buffet. I would rate it 3.5.

We live in Lansing and found out that there are many wonderful restaurants in Farmington. A few weeks ago, we visited this place for a south Indian buffet and it was the most disappointing experience. The dosa and idli tasted like something made by a north indian person who has never tried them before. Dosa took long time to come. The chutney(s) was one thing we were hoping would be good, but nope, again extremely disappointing, tasted like a frozen chutney reheated.
There arent any south indian places in Lansing, so we drove 1.5 hrs so our american friends can try this food, and the experience was frustrating. Do better !

Desi Licious in Farmington Hills is a culinary gem that serves up delicious and authentic Indian cuisine. The flavors are rich and bold, and the portions are generous, making it a great value for the price. The service is friendly and attentive, with a warm welcome that makes you feel right at home. I particularly enjoyed the butter chicken and the naan bread, which were both flavorful and expertly prepared. The restaurant's atmosphere is cozy and intimate, making it a great spot for a night out with friends or a romantic dinner. Overall, Desi Licious is a must-visit for anyone who loves Indian food or is looking to try something new!

Not a great experience overall. We tried the Thursday dosa buffet and the food was bland and not even hot. Dosa’s were fresh and decent but other items can definitely be skipped.
Needs a lot of improvement to even be considered a decent dining option among the tough competition around.
