In Latin America, coffee farms are often run by families, with their own homes on the same land where their coffee grows. We've sipped coffee with these farmers for decades, sitting on their verandas, overlooking the lush beauty of the coffee trees rolling out in the distance. Most times it was a lightly roasted coffee like this one. It took us more than 80 tries to get it right-mellow and flavorful with a nice softness.

The crew is fantastic—friendly and on point. The space itself, though, is crowded and loud. It’s not the music; it’s the tables being packed too close together, which makes having a comfortable conversation almost impossible. The coffee is fine, but nothing remarkable. Starbucks doesn’t offer much variety in their beans, and unfortunately they’re not organic, so there’s not much to get excited about on that front.

My new favorite spot to get out of the house and do some work with a cup of hot tea and a muffin. I love being welcomed when I come in the door, and the friendly baristas have started remembering my order, which makes me feel seen and valued. Manager April always has a smile and ensures that everything is top notch. Thanks!
