Staff is horrible. Kate was very rude to me. The guy that works in the morning when I ate lunch was rude to me. I asked for a refill on my drink he literally sat down at the table and chairs across the room and watched tv instead of serving me. I will never recommend this restaurant to my family or friends ever again!

Horrible. Felt bad for the waitress/bartender. Food came out wrong the first time. Then my burger came back out completely RAW!!! I will never visit this place again. The downtown Detroit location is so much better! Ended up eating at Los Tres Amigos next door, which is now one of my favorites. Probably the best decision we made that weekend!

Beer was cold. They took over 45 minutes to make 3 burgers. This would be okay if it were busier, but the table next to us was empty most of the time, on a Saturday night. Come with a lot of patience if you want a slightly above average burger, paired with an average beer.

I ordered on doordash so I cannot speak to the service or atmosphere but this burger is probably the worst burger I have ever had. They forgot all my toppings except for salsa, the bun was burnt, the patty was bland and the burger that was ordered medium well arrived extremely rare. The fries are ordered were a tiny portion for a full order and were cold and soggy when they arrived. Ive had a bad experience before but wanted to give them the benefit of the doubt. I can now saw without a doubt one of the worst burgers I have ever had.

We ordered the bison burger and let me tell you it was superb absolutely love it I'll definitely be back! Be sure to bring a jacket it is a bit chilly.

Basement Burger Bar is the exact type of place every downtown dreams of having. Patrick took great care of us and felt like a friend. The rotating beers on tap give you fun options to try. The paczki beer pairs perfect with the peanut butter burger. The junk burger is an awesome mess of deliciousness. The onion rings were fried perfectly. The burgers were huge, every portion felt super filling, and we even had leftovers. We're so excited to come back and try more of the menu!
The burgers are very good, you can add whatever ingredients you want.

Best burgers and amazing service! They were super sweet and I loved the entire place. Honestly, since it is a basement, it gets chilly! so bring a sweater! If you don't mind a little cold, I love it.
