Hong Hua Fine Chinese Dining

One of the better places in the area. If one of the places in the area wasn't the best place in the state, this might be 5 stars. Still worth coming to, on occassion.

Some of the best Chinese in the area, Hong Hua is a top choice for anything Mongolian beef, green beans, and anything with hoisin sauce, along with the rest of the menu which is full of delicious options. Great for families.

This really is the best Cantonese food in the area. Our family always gets the Peking duck which the kids eat very well, as well as the peapod leaves. As a vegetarian I always have plenty to eat also such as Hong sui doufu.

I have been a big fan of Hung Hua in the past but not anymore. My wife is vegan and in the past she enjoyed the sauteed vegetables. We ordered the vegetables last night and it was terrible. They just looked liked steamed vegetables. My wife called the restaurant and was told it was normally made with chicken broth and since she wanted it vegan it was done with water. The dish was terrible. This raises the question that when she ordered this dish in the past was it not vegan as promised?

The whole experience completely soured us on Hong Hua. They promised a refund which we have yet to see. We won't be back.

My wife and decided to give this place another try. We went for dinner last night and were disappointed again. The food was k, nothing special but the service was horrible. Our waitress deserted us. It probably took about 40 minutes to get the check and pay.

I’ve been going to this restaurant on and off for over 20 years and had never had a poor food experience until tonight. Because the entire menu is à la cart, I have always ordered the dinner vegetable fried rice. It used to be loaded with fresh veggies. Tonight’s veggie fried rice was made with frozen peas and carrots with a few mushrooms and bean sprouts. And when they made new menus, it is now priced at $14.

They also now pack your leftovers in styrofoam containers. The food and service has definitely been downgraded. I will not go back again.. so disappointing to see a great place disappear.

I called to see if specifically they made Almond Boneless Chicken with the lettice made popular in Detroit. They said yes. They lied. What i received was the worst Chinese food I've received in a long time. Dried out hard chicken that taste like 5 day old chicrrken. Nasry gravy and of course not prepared the detroit style. The sweet and sour chicken wasn't fresh either. Nice building that makes subpar Chinese food and over priced. If you want quality for that price try Mon jin lau in Troy. Their reputation used be stellar. Hopefully they have maintained that standard. Hong Hua Fine Chinese Dining has to state Fine Dining in it's name to fool people in trying their food. I gave it a one star. Hopefully one of these youtube food critices will expose them.

Top notch Food, very authentic Chinese food. The staff is the best, food service is fast and delicious. 3 dining rooms and can host larger gatherings. The bar service is well stocked Chinese and American beverages. Atmosphere is relaxing and not loud when busy. This restaurant design is relaxing.
