We were first time diners. When I called to make the reservation I was asked if I want to be upstairs where there is a band or downstairs in the dining area. I chose upstairs since it was girls night out. I was told the band goes on at 8pm. What they failed to mention was that if you arrive for your food reservation and the doorman has taken his post then there is an additional $5 fee per person to get to our reserved dinner table. Service was slow as they were a little busy, and that is fine to me if the food takes longer to come out. However, when the food comes out it should be warm… the mussels were very cold and the soupy sauce it was in was also cold. Made it very unenjoyable. I could tell it was just forgotten to be brought out to us. Mussels also had many cracked shells which got in the soup and felt like I almost chipped a tooth accidentally biting on a small piece of shell. Not a great first...read full review
