Ordered up some danishes in the morning and ready for pickup in the early afternoon. Both the cherry and blueberry were absolutely delicious!
Drove out store 9:30am Closed for July on door.
I question the freshness of the pastries. Presentation is great though.
I think they get products from Country Life Natural Foods. I trust any business that uses Country Life for their ingredients!
I finally went to their store!! everything was amazing!! The fruit chicken salad was bomb!! Orange marmalade pastry was so good! and I also got a coconut pineapple cake piece, also AMAZING! She is an amazing baker!! Go now!
Little bakery in the middle of nowhere. Well worth a stop.
Chicken Scratch Farm & Bakery is a little off the beaten path but oh so worth it! The staff are warm and friendly, the food is delicious, is all HOME MADE, FRESH, and ALL NATURAL.

Stopped for some pastries and some food. Left with some Goulash, a cheese danish and a raspberry turn over. Everything was really good. Loved the take a book, leave a book area. The employees were all very nice and friendly. Would stop in again if we were in the area

Popped in to see what they offered last week and got a sample of the lemon coffee cake - delicious! Light and moist and tasty. Ordered a whole cinnamon swirl coffee cake and it was ready ahead of schedule and delicious as well. Owner was very responsive and helpful. Asparagus egg tarts were tasty too. Reasonable prices. We’ll be back.

I finally dropped by after telling myself to do so for a while. I’m glad I did. It’s a charming little bakery with a lot of delicious options. I got three of their baked goods, but they had a big selection. The apricot pecan tart was especially decadent. I’d love to get some of their frozen pierogis next time. They make great stuff, and I would encourage everyone I know to give them a try.
