Fenn Valley - Saugatuck Tasting Room

We had a wonderful experience at the Fenn Valley tasting room in Saugatuck, thanks to Carol! She was incredibly knowledgeable about the wines and helped guide us through our tasting with great recommendations. Carol was not only helpful, but also warm and friendly—she made us feel right at home. Her passion for wine and great customer service truly made our visit memorable! Thank you, Carol!!

The tasting is fun, love a lot of the selections they have. Staff is very friendly and kind. Building is very clean, it has a nice relaxing atmosphere.

We stumbled upon this place because we saw the wine tasting sign outside , while walking around Saugatuck for our first time. During our tasting, Pat was so helpful and enthusiastic about the wine. He made great recommendation and was very knowledgeable. He created such a memorable experience that we are planning to take my parents to the actual winery.

The staff was not friendly. The lady at the front checking our IDs commented on my picture and asked "if I lost weight". The woman that poured us our wine picks snatched the menu out of my hand because she thought I was turning it around for her to read when I was just turning it over to read the back of it. Wine was good, staff not so much.

We had a wonderful experience wine tasting with Carol. She was educating us so much on the options and the history behind the wines. We ended up buying a cab and will be back. It was wonderful to be able to do a fast tasting when we didn’t get the chance to visit the vineyard this year. We can’t wait to come back & buy more!

This was a great stop on our visit to Saugatuck. We went in for a tasting and were very impressed by the available selection. Found several wines and ciders that we liked enough to buy to take home. Staff was very friendly and offered great recommendations.

Stopped by with a large group on a family trip. Had an amazing time here. Would definitely recommend if in the area.

Fun staff and good wines

Nice experience. Quaint downtown location. A little haughty. Good wines and ciders though. Prices were good too. Would recommend if you are just looking for a place to taste and buy. I think I read that there are tours available of the actual winery.

A few weeks ago, we went to Saugatuck tasting room on Saturday morning. Not busy yet, lady who poured talked a lot and told us she had a favorite in every catagory. We picked out a couple we liked and decided to get them Sunday on our way out of town. SO glad we waited! We were planning a dinner for family after a wedding and needed some help with wines. We must not have sounded too sure of our choices because the lady there, Carol, started asking us questions. We told her our mission, She said "We have to talk". My wife giggled. We were "forced" to do a tasting and with her guidance we tried several wines we would not even have considered! And we bought most of them. Very intuitive lady! For about 20 minutes we talked food, seasoning, wine and recipes! We don't live locally. Thanks to Carol and Fenn Valley wines we looked like we knew what we were doing and impressed our family! Thank You !!

I was not impressed with this tasting.Usually you are presented with individual pours on a tray from your selection. This was one glass used over and over. Sometimes our glasses were rinsed with the next pour, some were wiped with a towel sitting under the bar and some were never rinsed and just poured. I think the way it was presented deterred me from liking any wines and purchasing. Hope this can be improved.
