The Michigan Wine Company is a wonderful little spot to enjoy some of southern Michigan's best wine! Although we visited several local vineyards, the absolute best was Michigan Wine. Their wines were way above expectations, and they had nice food selections too. It's a relatively new establishment, but their vintner shows real expertise. What a very fine place this is. The owners, Erica and Joe, were so helpful while I was trying to decide which types of wine to choose for my flight...all of it was GREAT and it was very difficult trying to decide which bottles to buy. The vineyard is next to the outdoor seating so the atmosphere is exceptional. We ended up getting a tour of the facility and my mom was given top treatment of a sample of the wine from the aged bourbon barrelI! I highly recommend this stop!!

Very casual experience. A nice winery to just hang out at. They have a nice outdoor area with yard games and a fire pit. Staff was very friendly but did not offer a lot of information about the wines.
