We went on a wine tour through fennville and had a nice little side stop here. Their cider is delicious and you can walk off the buzz on a trail and see some pigs and some nature.

Fantastic experience. Great staff, delicious ciders, fun atmosphere, really just perfect. Try one of the flights, it's amazing how different ciders can taste!

We visited Virtue Cider on a lovely fall afternoon and were able to snag a pair of Adirondack chairs overlooking the property — such a beautiful setting! Their ordering system is super easy to use, and we opted for the single varietal cider flight. We didn’t have any food this time, but it was still a very enjoyable and relaxing experience.

The ciders drink more like white wines, and since I typically prefer sweeter ciders, they weren’t exactly my style — but they were well-crafted and thoughtfully presented. The staff were attentive, the ciders came out quickly, and a special shout-out to their creative use of a shipping container for the restrooms — super clean and cleverly designed. Overall, a great stop and a perfect add-on after visiting Modales Winery or Crane’s Pie Pantry nearby.

Not sure why the hours have changed, but we were there a couple of times few years ago and it was so beautiful sitting by a fire pit late at night drinking delicious cider. Really well maintained area and atmosphere was just so great, it was worth traveling for. But it doesn’t look like that is a thing anymore. It was great for a date night, but it doesn’t look they’re open after sundown.

This was our first stop as new Harvest Host member. We could not have picked a better place to begin!

•Totally chill atmosphere
• The cider flights (Salute & Farm Flight) were original, crisp and so tasty.
• The staff was help and friendly.

Our 29 foot travel trailer fit perfectly in site one which was about a 90 second walk from the patio area with ample seating, games, walking trails and its pet friendly outside, bring your puppies!

5/5 and we'll be back soon.

One of our favorite places!!!

They should warn dog people about the chickens. Dog friendly doesn't work well with free range chickens (and fearless ones who think people are going to feed them). We've been several times and have enjoyed it. This time was exhausting controlling our dogs with the roaming chickens.

Crazy story if you want to bear with me.... If not, just know that the 5 star review should be a 10 star review...

My husband, our pup and I were van tripping through Michigan one weekend when we were deciding what we wanted to do to wrap up our Sunday evening. We needed to find a spot to stay for the night, but wanted one last stop before turning in. We stumbled upon Virtue Cider and thought it would be a perfect way to end our weekend. Pup friendly, we called ahead to be sure, great reviews, and on the way to our final destination. As soon as we pulled into their parking lot, our battery light came... My husband turns and says, I think our alternator is going out.... I have no idea what this means in the moment, and he's slightly starting to panic. We're five hours away from home, virtually in the middle of nowhere, and our van is no longer operable.... On a Sunday night. At 6pm. We're both mentally scrambling, so I go into the cidery to see if they know ANYONE in the area that can help. Insert Seth, the most understanding, kind, helpful human being! He listened to my crazy story, offered to help us in several ways, and even offered to let us keep the van in their parking lot overnight until we could get help. The epitome of what it means to just be a kind and understanding human being. In a moment that could have been awful, and completely ruin our weekend, Seth and the Virtue team made us feel welcomed, cared for, and most importantly safe. And special shout out to Amber also, she was so sweet and kind as well!

Long story short... Our van was stuck, so were we, so we took the last 45 minutes that they were open to try to enjoy the AMAZING cider, the grounds, and chill atmosphere. It was honestly so great despite the added stress of our situation. Around 7 they closed up shop, we hunkered down in the van in their parking lot, and were thankfully rescued by our mechanic who drove 5 hours from Columbus to save us. He installed a new alternator at about 1 am, and we immediately hit the road to head home, just to be safe. Oddly, a fantastic way to end our little road trip.

Chill atmosphere, good variety of ciders and friendly, welcoming staff! The free range chickens make good company during your cider tasting.

This is my favorite place in town. Amazing ciders, incredible scenery, chickens wandering around, pigs to feed, trails to walk, live music, etc. You come here to drink amazing booze, relax and take in the vibes. Life slows down for a bit at Virtue and I love it. But the best part of all is a lady named Chelsea. Whatever she’s getting paid, double it. She’s the heartbeat of this place. She engages with customers, makes genuine conversation, tells stories, asks which ciders you like, offers tastings. She took our toddlers on an egg hunt to find chicken eggs and succeeded. The kids were absolutely thrilled. She’s the kind of person every hospitality entrepreneur longs for. Virtue Cider is a must stop, whether you think you like ciders or not.

The atmosphere was so peaceful! We went on a day where the weather was perfect and they had live music. Sitting in the sun with great music, cider, and the occasional chicken walking by was truly my ideal day! I got a flight and was well informed on each of the ciders presented and everybody was willing to answer any questions I had. We also got the figgy cheese spread, cranberry crackers, and pork salami and it all went so well together and I am excited to have them as a snack again. We took our glasses and explored the grounds and it was such a nice way to get up and move while still enjoying the cider. All of the staff was so friendly and accommodating to all. I will be making a point to come back next time I am in the area!

Where do I begin? This is a magical place. Perfect for a day trip. The staff is amazing and Knowledgeable. As soon as we entered we were greeted by Chelsea who was willing to explain EVERYTHING for us. She was patient with our questions and was able to match a cider to our desired palette. The venue is amazing. Chickens greet you while you are sipping your cider on an Adirondack. Definitely a place to spend time, sip some goodness and enjoy the air. Customer service is exceptional. Patrick offered to carry our case to the car. Make this a
Must when visiting Michigan.
