Arrived at Beale Street BBQ,12:14pm, for BBQ Ribs. They were out of Ribs, until 4pm. I inquired about the Lunch Brisket Platter. I'd never had Brisket and I asked if it had any grissle or lots of fat. My server said no. I also had baked beans, cole slaw, corn bread and a large lemonade. A third of the brisket was grissle and fat. The baked beans,cole slaw, corn bread and lemonade were 110 percent awesome. The server who originally took my order was rude every time she came...
I’ve been going to this place for many many years. Although I haven’t been back in last year because everything seemed to be reheated or it tasted like that. I think three stars is very generous for my experience tonight. We were there at 6:30 PM to have dinner and enjoy some blues. The band was so so not really blues. They were out of ribs and brisket at 6:30 PM on Friday night! So we ordered Pulled pork andouille sausage. The pulled pork tasted like cardboard not even smoked!...
This restaurant was one of mine and my husband's favorite until recently. We drive 25 minutes just to get there and them not have a full menu. How can a BBQ place run out of one of their main dishes which is brisket. The last 2 times we've been there they didn't have a full menu. We won't be driving 25 minutes to be disappointed again!
