When we arrived we had questions as it was our first time there. The gentleman was so helpful and friendly. He gave directions to a restaurant we had wanted to go to as neither of us was familiar with Fenton. The young man in charge of the carts was fabulous too. Just treated so well there. The course was recommended by a friend in Fenton. It was as beautiful as it was challenging. We definitely will be going back.
The young men checking us in and in charge of carts were so friendly, helpful and gracious. Gave very helpful directions into town for lunch afterwards as neither of us lived close to there. The course was beautiful and challenging. Definitely plan on playing there again. It's right off highway so very easy to get to.

Not a great venue for inexperienced golfers. Not because of the course but because of the "rules". We were asked by staff, while waiting for a group (of 4) who we let pass to "try and keep up." We saw a sign later that said, 2 hours average for 9 holes. We ended up taking 4.5 for 18 holes. I didn't feel this was huge variance from the 2 hour average. We were later asked by management to skip a hole. Regardless, I thought golf was a leisurely sport and we were never just goofing...read full review
