Outstanding food and amazing service. Definitely a must try if you're a sushi fan in the Ferndale area.
Small portions, soup was salty. Not genuine Japanese cuisine.
Such a bummer that the original menu has changed. Food was okay but it used to be so much better and authentic. So many original items taken away and unfortunately I don’t feel the need to return like I used to.
I have allergies, and Casey was amazing about it. Answered all my questions with confidence, checked with the kitchen when necessary and made me feel comfortable and safe with what I was eating. More restaurants should provide servers with the allergy training they provide here.
Place is honestly mediocre. Have had better.
This was my first time there, and the food was really good. Nice atmosphere as well.
Bring back the old menu :(
One of the best sushi place in Downtown Ferndale.
I'm not a sushi fan but the food was 10/10⭐️
I go very often to this place.
The desserts are an artwork ( especially the crème brûlée)
The serving is very good, they are taking good care of you.
The waiting is not long.
The atmosphere sometimes is loud and sometimes is peaceful, depending on the day.
My review is loaded with reasons of why I rated as I did… really nice place for sure! Great atmosphere.. they were booked solid for sitting at a table. We sat at the bar. They greeted us and came over to take our drink orders. Drinks were served quickly. Bartender/Server.. his name was Simone so he gets 6 stars for patience for running around 20 million times asking the chef questions. I’m lactose intolerant, gluten intolerant, and garlic intolerant. So with that being said it’s 2025 restaurants should be versed in these dietary restrictions. How silly of you to have a menu with gluten intolerance foods highlighted/stated and then switch to a ridiculous menu to only make your servers lives extremely difficult. That poor gentlemen running around all night trying to accommodate. Chef Bruce Allen & Chef Noel Cabrera so many places get it. You don’t. You have to pivot and learn how to accommodate dietary restrictions. Your menu is ridiculous simplify things for customers and your staff! There way of ‘accommodating’ was wait til 10pm let us clean up and then prepare your meal?! That’s ridiculous! I had an extremely long day just wanted to spend time with my significant other have a nice dinner and a good time. Somehow getting food out has become a chore! Thanks
If you have dietary restrictions go to the bar and look for the gentleman I mentioned he will go thru hoops trying to make you happy. I hope they treat him well. If it weren’t for him I would have walked out!
Parking is side street paid or garage paid via app. I saw the meter maid doing his rounds they figure you out and charge! Pay it or you’ll get something in the mail.
Joined a friend for a sushi making (and sake tasting) class at Tigerly. This event had 5 courses with a chef led demonstration. Once seated we received our first pour, and we got to enjoy a few appetizers before the lesson began - brisket wonton/tempura pickles and a fresh garden salad with a delicious creamy dressing (this along with the wonton were standouts). The only note was that extra dressing is needed to accompany the assortment of radishes.
Tigerlily restaurant is beautiful and I’ve been a few times but this was my first time at the tiki bar. In addition to the sake pairing, we ordered a painkiller & lychee martini. Great cocktails! The tiki room was closed off for the event and the staff were friendly & attentive; the sushi chef has an impressive resume but not pretentious - he built a great rapport with us - you can tell he loves his craft and sharing knowledge. While he made the example rolls he passed around the ingredients and gave tips not just on sushi making but also on how to identify good sushi. He started making the rolls about 1 1/2 into the event, last hour was attendees turn. Everything was supplied at the table; nice set up with most items prepped to make creating easy. They gave enough to make 4 rolls initially but you could ask for more if you desired. I made a Cali/Tuna Avocado/Spicy Tuna* which the chef came over to guide me since that’s not something he demonstrated in class.
The night ended with another sake pour (3 total) and dessert! Tropical ice cream topped with toasted shredded coconut and a charred pineapple slice. We were given takeout containers and a warm send off - not too full or too tipsy. Definitely a fun night!

Always a great time. Highly recommend seats at the sushi bar.
TERRIBLE SERVICE, they told us THE WAIT was 30 MINUTES to an HOUR. We left and came back after an HOUR and 10 MINUTES passed, THEN they told us its going to be an HOUR or MORE !!! Why lie about the wait give YOUR CUSTOMERS a REAL estimated wait time!!!!
Took forever to get our edamame. A table that joined after we sat and ordered after us managed to get their apps first. For not being incredibly packed, service was a bit slow.
I’m sure it may have been an off night, but for the price paid, I just didn’t see the value.
Atmosphere is fantastic, particularly in the Tiki bar.
Absolutely love this place and just like love goes…..They broke my heart! Where is the Mt. Fuji sushi roll?
I order the steak hibachi with fried rice. I got completely tough overcooked steak with zero seasoning. The fried rice was also mushy and the rice wasnt flavored nicely and was weirdly sour. Overall, other than the appetizer and dessert, the place is massively overpriced and not worth the vist given the amazing sushi and japanese restaurants in the area
