Not sure how I missed rating The Bosco but think of it like Mr. B’s of Royal Oak (back in 2019) but in Ferndale. Hip hop/ some R&B… overall a great time. Their liquor offerings may be a bit limiting at times but it seems like they are improving over the years. Also know that usually you are able to find a deal with them on the Eventbrite app and if not cover is $20 after a certain time. Overall, 8/10.

While the drinks and food were reasonably priced, my overall experience was disappointing. Upon arrival, I informed the front door staff that, for health reasons, I might need to briefly step outside if I began to overheat. I was assured this would be allowed. However, when that situation arose, I was told I could not even step outside without paying to re-enter. One staff member further commented that I “should keep a fan on me,” which was both dismissive and unprofessional.
The bar area was chaotic, with only two bartenders and a considerable wait to order. It was also uncomfortably warm on both the patio and indoor sides, despite the venue not being crowded. The bathrooms were in poor condition, with sinks that did not work properly and one completely backed up. Overall, the lack of professionalism, organization, and cleanliness made for a very disappointing experience.

It was the right amout of rachet to classy that was perfect! This place is cool and unique. One half is inside and the other is outside with a big tree in thr middle giving the feel of being inside while being outside. They had lots of heaters out there also so I would imagine this place is a vibe year round

My girlfriend wanted to check this place out for sex and the City night. She decided to get a booth for $50. We got there when they opened and there was nothing set up at all. No DJ no theme nothing. The DJ started about an hour and a half later. The place was completely dead except for the people that joined us. The DJ played regular songs which was fine but again nothing for a theme. I didn't see any reason to actually pay for a booth being that they were all unoccupied and the place is literally set up like a restaurant.
Service was extremely slow and lackadaisical combined with the fact that an automatic 20% tip was added even though I only paid for two people which is still bad enough but worse is that they also decided to add a 5% charge for credit cards which is ridiculous at a bar club place.
Our friends and us basically we're keeping the place afloat all night and buying drinks and then at a quarter to 1:00 they turn the lights on and basically told us since no one else is here we're closing. Their hours say till 2:00 and we were buying drinks the whole night That's a bunch of bullshit and just shows lazy service. I saw them walking outside afterwards I think they were probably headed to another party.
Would not recommend and will not be back
