I was on the phone with my sister while she was visiting this store and I just witnessed the associates working there have very suspicious and nasty behavior towards her. My sister goes to this store often. This is one of her happy places and she usually speaks very highly of this establishment. While on the phone with her while shopping the associates kept having to assist her because there were things locked in boxes that required associate assistance. I’m not sure if they were annoyed but the African American associate on duty today made a smart remark to my sister that was very unnecessary. My sister let it go because what the associates don’t know is that she STUDIES everything Esoteric and crystals so she has an insane amount of conscience awareness as well as ability to not take things personally when CLEARLY she was being mistreated. Because she studies these crystal properties and origins she also takes a longer period of time looking and studying them in real time to which she was constantly approached and asked if she “needed help”. when she DID ask for assistance with a necklace. . . instead of them handing it to her they took it to the front while my sister was still shopping. This gave inkling that they were suspicious of her in addition to the many times she was asked if she needed help while studying the crystals and actively looking them up online. As my sister concluded her shopping the very necklace they took to the front was not added to the order and my sister left not noticing. She turned back around after noticing the necklace was not added and when she returned the doors were locked because they were closed. She knocked on the door and they came to the door and she stated she realized they did not add the necklace in question and instead of apologizing right away they said “oh well I think they shut everything down now I wouldn’t know”. . . She asked the associate at the register if there was a necklace at the register and the associate said “yea”. . . My sister was so irritated that she said “you know what it’s ok” and left. On the car ride home she expressed her disappointment about the experience and when she got home to open one of the other necklaces that was wrapped up in a box she realized THERE WAS NOTHING IN THE BOX. this is all happening in REAL TIME because we have not gotten off the phone yet. Moral of the story my sister had a terrible shopping experience and I will not allow this to go unchecked. This place is typically her safe space and I feel she was profiled and mistreated after spending OVER $150 at this establishment.

I got a reading here today and paid $30 for 15 minutes. The reading was good but I wasn’t even in there for 10 minutes and I paid $30. Just wish there were more cards or more time especially after hearing my friends have good experiences with other readers for the same amount of time. I’ve been a previous customer and had a great time. Don’t mean to complain I just wish there was more. Edit: Thank you for the clarity and thoughtful response I’ve genuinely never had a problem before and it was still a great experience overall.

My children came with me to add to their rock collections and the staff let my youngest see a ring with her birthstone even though it was out of our price range. I went there to have a reading today. I am going through major transitions and I needed clarity. Robert, you were an absolute delight to spend time with. He said things that let me know he honored his gift. He was encouraging. Also, he used multiple approaches which for me was quite unique. My past was explained, the choices I have to make presently are more clear, and I have confidence in my future and myself.
I also purchased some items. I think they have rather good prices but I am used to Ann Arbor. Love this place. Love the vibe.
