Disappointed! I ordered the two burritos and honestly didn’t taste authentic but more of a lazy attempt at gringo Mexican food. No spice and literally store bought flour tortillas and chopped chicken with mayo or sour cream. My soup was also flavorless and felt thrown together before serving it. I was hoping for more authentic flavors and a real Mexican restaurant but now can see why it’s not super busy.

Came in for a margarita after going on a first date that could’ve been better, and everything was fabulous. Best chicken tinga tacos I’ve ever had. I came here specifically because I wanted a real margarita made with lime and agave rather than sour mix. Best margarita I’ve had in Metro Detroit, and I’ve been around! Lol. 100/10 recommend. Also, my server Karina was so kind and attentive.

Give this place a second try, we did. We just had our second visit during the DIY festival in Ferndale… and we absolutely loved it! We were greeted, seated and ordered within five minutes, delicious paloma and spicy margarita. We ordered nachos, tamales, and tacos (all vegetarian). Our food arrived within 10 minutes of ordering! What a dramatic turn around from the first time we visited when the service was a bit slow and food was good. Now things are moving swiftly, and the food is amazing! We were so glad we gave this restaurant a second chance, planning to go back in the next week or so.
A new favorite in Ferndale. I have been here for brunch and dinner and both were excellent. The staff was very nice and they were very accommodating for vegetarians. The brunch sandwich I got was excellent, even the bread was exceptional. I'll be back soon!

Discovered Carajillo earlier this week and decided to stop in for dinner tonight while walking my dog. Service was great and they gave my dog water too. There is a lot of patio space and it’s really beautiful and comfortable. I had the nachos with steak and they were really good and a good size as well. I’m looking forward to going back soon and eating inside and trying more dishes. Glad to find this new gem in Ferndale.

I've walked by many times & few diners have been here. Thought I'd give it a try. Food was mediocre. Atmosphere mediocre, except for the sodas at the front and the running lights. Waitstaff not dressed nicely. Churros were delicious!! Dinners were very high priced!

I've been here a few times and tried multiple dishes, but all of them were forgettable. There's nothing I would look forward to ordering again, honestly. Especially given the wide range of already delicious restaurants in the area. Even if this place was cheap, I still don't think I could recommend it.
I haven't really tried the drinks enough to comment on them. The atmosphere was pleasant. The place is nicely decorated, and looks better than the old Emory did (previous restaurant at this location).
