The store front of the cafe is cozy.
But the selling point of any cafe and coffee roaster is the coffee. To which, can l Chazzano's excels.
With the exception of a few permanent entries, the coffee menu is subject to change. But any cup is cheap so folks can try out as many roasts as possible.
The owner; Frank, and all the staff are bring helpful, friendly, and knowledgeable in every bean.
Truly the only thing I'd change about the storefront, is either open on 1 day on the weekend, or a little after work.
But with their website, and ordering online. I can get my beans without issue.
Love this place.

Chazzano has quality coffee. A cup is half the price of, and much better than what I pay up the street.

This was my first time in the new location. The young man working the counter was knowledgeable, very helpful, and recommended a good coffee that was light and fruity. The lady who made our pour overs was quick and kind.

Good service, laid back and professional customer service, good coffee.
Will be back.

Staff is super friendly and helpful! So glad I drove by and stopped in. Ordered a hot latte with oat milk for $3.50. Can’t beat that price or the quality. There are a variety of roast and bean options. Will definitely be back!

This is a gem of a place! They roast their own beans and have fabulous coffee. They deliver coffee beans and cold brew, so my first experience with their coffee was via home delivery. Today, I went to the coffee shop and worked for a little bit. The staff is lovely and their lattes are phenomenal. This is a very nice locally owned business!

OK, you can’t look around for good coffee in Detroit area without going here. Very good coffee. They made one of the best espresso shots I have ever had from their Ethiopian sweet lily bean. Absolutely amazing profile. I also got their Kenya AB pour over which was likewise delicious. As you’ll see in the photos, the breadth of their bean selection is intense! Definitely did not make it out of there without some ?.

Very fresh roasted coffee! The pour over I got was delicious. After I tried my pour over I went back and bought some beans to take home. I will definitely be back when I am in the area.

I am moving to the Berkeley area from Arizona and I made it a point to visit coffee shops and grocery stores on my latest trip. I have been accused of being a coffee snob in the past and as much as I do not find delight with the word snob I can’t deny the sentiment behind the accusation. When I heard that Chazzano did not offer flavored syrups at their shop I was immediately intrigued and it was the first coffee house I visited. I would characterize this place as a roaster that happens to serve coffee. Anyone complaining about the hours and seating don’t appreciate this place for what it is - a coffee snob’s dream. Chazzano had at least 40 different roasts and the staff had the knowledge and experience to not only describe but nerd out with me about each one. To say the least I bought a pound to take back to AZ to try out in my home espresso maker but more importantly I found my coffee shop. And it is worth mentioning that they deliver within 30 min. I’d like to also thank Abbey my barista for taking the time to nerd out with me a little and talking to me about the neighborhood. I look forward to my return to Berkeley and Chazzano!!!!!

Best coffee in the state hands down. Frank is serious about roasting and it shows. I haven’t had a batch of beans that I didn’t enjoy. The staff are well trained and friendly. If you’re a coffee connoisseur this is the only place in Michigan worth going. Fresh meticulously roasted beans and properly brewed coffee.
