I absolutely loved the food and the service was incredible. I was helped by a girl named Ela from Colombia, and she was wonderful. It was my first time trying Peruvian food and it was an amazing experience.
She was incredible and by the way, very beautiful! :) I will definitely be coming back. Amazing restaurant!

I found out that this is a family-owned place The Peruvian food was so delicious and I was met with such kindness by the daughter of the owner! I wish I could remember her name but I will not forget her smile! Thank you so much for the delicious meal! 💚🙏🏻😋

Other than Salchipapa for $11, for some fries and one sausage cut in a thousand pieces (doesn’t make it more)… maybe with two sausages it’s closer to be fair.
Arroz Chaufa was good, ají de gallina was very good , the menu in the wall it’s really cool. The music was good too (learn some Spanish to appreciate). If we happen to be close we’ll come back.
Inka Kola brought some memories back from our time in Peru.
I really wanted to try “tres leche” but I lived in Puerto Rico before and it’s everywhere between 2.50 and 5. $8 it’s way too expensive.
No free parking.

There is little street parking, and you will probably have to park in the back. It is paid parking ($1.75 an hour) we got 2 meals and ceviche for $51 total. It came out warm and quick. Presentation was well, the place was clean and the atmosphere was nice. The food as a whole was okay but very happy that Detroit has a good representation of Peruvian food nearby. Worth a try after seeing it online but probably won’t be back for a little while.

Had a great experience at Culantro. I ordered the #7 and it was excellent. The aji amarillo sauce was a dazzling first experience. The man who helped our group was incredibly positive and energetic and made us feel genuinely welcomed. Food came out very fast which was perfect for our evening out. Great flavors, friendly service, and a fun vibe. Definitely looking forward to coming back and trying more of the menu.

I went with some friends and from the beginning they treated us badly with a super bad attention and judgmental looks but I never go again besides all the food was bad the worst ceviche I have ever eaten in my life I go again

The food is very tasty, but the dish I ordered didn't come with the potatoes, and I also ordered extra plantains and potatoes, which didn't arrive either, but they were still charged on the bill.
I got the Chaufa chicken/steak and the chicharron.
The protiens across both dishes were overcooked and dry and both dishes were also unfortunately very bland. To the point were i had to drench my chaufa in soy sauce and ither seasonings. I highly recommend providing some with the order and or using a fattier protein with the sandwich especially if potatoes are added, with little to no sauce. This was an unfortunately bad first experience but all hope is not lost.
Fast and friendly service plus delicious food. The passion fruit juice is one of my favorite things here. There is additional parking around back.

We took a chance on this Peruvian restaurant for a Sunday lunch. It did not disappoint.
Service was quick and friendly.
The food was very fresh and tasty. The whole menu was very fairly priced.
We will be back to try more on the menu.

I love to try new spots so often that I don’t return to many, but I always come back here! Great casual spot, the Culantro bowl is literally like chipotle but fresher. And I dream about the jugo de maracuya (passion fruit juice). YUM
Very impressed! Roasted chicken was juicy and flavorful, AMAZING with the chimichurri. Lomo saltado was excellent, black beans and plantains as well. Did not try myself but my friends did try both vegan dishes and were very happy. All around a great meal!

I ordered the Arroz Chaufa with steak and chicken. The portion size is great. There's a great chicken to steak ratio and the onion gives it a great taste of freshness so the meal doesn't feel so heavy. 10/10 would order again.

The food was very bland. Literally unseasoned. The chicken was well cooked by had not personality. The empanadas were terrible. They had zero flavor other than from the olives. I shouldve known something was up when he asked if we wanted sugar on the empanadas.
