Honestly the miserable woman behind the bar was enough for me. Ma'am do better. I would never go back and would advise against anyone else going at all.
You work at a dive bar in Ferndale. Seriously get a grip.

Pretty much a hole in the wall bar. My friends and I would meet here pretty regularly. I actually liked it alot. That kind of changed based on a few occasions and experiences . My friends and I were buying rounds top shelf whiskey shots, however at one point the bartender put the cheaper alcohol in the expensive bottle and attempted to sell it as if it was the better liquor at the same price. So my advice if you go watch out for the dishonesty.

I don't know how the food is here, just having drinks, but I'm going to give it a five cause I liked Danny and the vibe here was not only exactly what I was looking for, but what we as humans need more of.

Walked in and sat down. Happened to have a cup of water with me. Was ignored for 5 minutes. Bartender then came over and picked up my cup with the tips of her fingers as if I was the most disgusting person she had ever met. Explained that outside water was unacceptable. Just looked at me and my husband with absolute derision. Very sad for a couple visiting an otherwise phenomenal town

We visited Danny's Irish Pub on a Friday night while barhopping in fashionable Ferndale and had a good time. They had tons of credits in the AMI jukebox for everyone to enjoy whatever music they wanted to play. It's a nice divy bar pub atmosphere that is different for the area and always a good time.

I stumbled into Danny’s Irish Pub after a night at Como’s next door, and I’m so glad I did. This place is the definition of a classic dive bar—in the best way possible. The atmosphere is laid-back and genuine, filled with cool people, good vibes, and drinks that don’t break the bank.

As I get older, I’ve really come to appreciate the nostalgia of bars like this—places that feel like a throwback to a different era. Danny’s captures that spirit perfectly. It’s unpretentious, welcoming, and just a great spot to hang out with friends.

If you’re in Ferndale and looking for a low-key, authentic spot with character and cheap drinks, don’t miss Danny’s. Total hidden gem.

At least a dive bar should have decent service; either take FORever to get a drink (with three people in the bar), rude, or just blah. Could be such a great place and used to be, like they gave up and it's allowed there.

One of the best dive bars in the area. Cool staff, cold beer. Small. Just has bar and some chairs behind. Perfect.

Quite possibly the most miserable and insolent bartender I've ever had works here. If you hate your job that much, either retire or find another, but you have zero business being in any sort of hospitality or customer service industry.
