Their feta spinach pies are delicious, and their chairs are very comfortable to sit and work.

Stopped by for a quick coffee on my way north and loved it here. I had to find street parking, but that was no big deal, and the place was easy enough to find. The staff was very friendly, and the iced oatmilk latte I got was great!

The place itself had a really great vibe, and I wish I could’ve stayed longer. Seemed like a great place to sit and chat or get some work done.

The place is much bigger than I anticipated! The tiramisu cheesecake is amazing! Lattes pistachio and lavender are good. Took longer to get them than I think it should. Parking in front and next to the establishment. Lots of people were on their laptops here. Lots of seating available.

Well, let me start off by saying I used to love this little "oasis" tucked into my beloved hometown. I'd come and get some great coffee, lattes and some great pastries to go along with it. Lately however, I've been getting nauseated by the smell of e-cig and vape fumes that's permeating through the ventilation system. It's really off-putting when you're trying to enjoy your coffee and pastry, but the smell is ruining it for you. I can only imagine this is from an employee or someone in the back, because clearly there is no one out in the common areas vaping, but it has happened the last three times I've stopped in. It's a shame that I may have to choose another place to go simply because of this. Please, if anyone reads these reviews, be aware that just because it's not cigarette smoke, most people can still detect the chemical smell to these products and find it offensive. In my case, it's offensive enough that it's ruined one of my favorite places to hang out and spend money at. Please, Desert Oasis, do better and have your employees step outside if they choose to vape. It's something that should be done anyway, considering city ordinances prohibit smoking or vaping in public spaces.

Absolutely loved the cafe. Friendly staff and plenty of spaces.

This place is sooo good! Both pour overs I had were excellent and the staff is attentive, friendly and cool! For my coffee pourover people, this the real deal! 5 stars easy

I've moved to the area about 2 years ago. I work from home and time to time I like to go to a coffee shop to do some work.

I've tried many different coffee shops near by, such as
* Royal Oak Roast
* Dessert Oasis in Royal Oak
* Dessert Oasis in Ferndale
* Atomic Coffee
* Drifter's Coffee
* Red Hook in Ferndale

I can say with 100% confidence that Dessert Oasis in Ferndale is by far the best coffee for me. Here is why,

* Super friendly staff. They say hi to you, and bring coffee to you when you sit down. Also, I feel like people who work here `knows` coffee.
* You get an actually coffee mug when you order coffee to enjoy inside (some establishments still give you paper/plastic to go even though you are enjoying coffee inside)
* Dedicated parking with one EV charging spot (level 2).
* Huge space. Modern interior. Clean. Quiet (at least in the morning).
* 2 bathrooms.
* Fast WIFI
* High quality coffee / espresso drinks.
* You can bring your dog in when you order coffee (I don't think you can sit inside).

Some cons
* No outdoor - but not a big deal for me
* If you are here for food, I think Royal oak Roast has way more food options (e.g. lunch).

Not a place I would’ve gone in my 20’s as it is a bit pricey for the newly employed. As a man in my 50’s though (don’t tell anyone!), it is outstanding. Great atmosphere. All that you’d want in a coffeehouse. Even for a non-coffee drinker like me. Pictured is the… I’m not sure what the name is. Yuzu with burnt sugar syrup and a lot of other stuff. It was excellent. $7.95.

For those who are befuddled by the miniatures and characters, the majority of my reviews are in Japan and these match the decor of Japanese cafes. Well, the miniatures do. The stuffed animals are just my personal stamp.

Parking: There is parking on the left and right side of the building, and on the street in front of it. There seems to be a lot, but some of it can be a squeeze to get into.

I absolutely love this coffee shop! It provides a fantastic environment for productivity while offering delicious drinks and food in a warm, inviting atmosphere. In my opinion, this place deserves more than a five-star rating. Thank you for being such a valuable part of the Ferndale community!

Chill and tasteful décor and atmosphere with plenty of seating. Consistently good coffee and service . Haven't tried the baked goods , but noticed a good selection. Low key neighborhood so no fighting through traffic. What's not to like?

Walked in and never felt more at home in my LIFE. Staff are welcoming, inclusive, kind - coffee is 100. Could drink it for the rest of my life and nothing else. Pastries - yeah - they're perfect. Parking, seating, atmosphere - no complaints!
