Not a ton of things to offer on the menu but the view is magnificent and a good vibe for a first date. Easy parking.

Great, just small portions. Other than that, it's really good food and service.

We hosted an event here a few months ago and it was outstanding. The food and the service were awesome and the atmosphere was great too. Couldn’t have been happier and our guests agreed. Great job to the staff, they were tremendous.

The food was very good but quite expensive.. my boyfriend ended up getting two little sliders. They were really expensive like $12.99 and they were very little like the size of a dollar coin.

We had the pleasure of being served by Ashley, and she was absolutely wonderful! Her service was top-notch—super friendly, attentive, and always with a warm smile. She made sure our drinks were full and really enhanced our overall experience. We truly enjoyed having her as our bartender and will definitely be back. Thank you, Ashley, for making our night special!

We hosted our August 2024 wedding reception at Detroit Fleat and it was everything we could have hoped for! We worked with Katie to plan our vision, and she was so helpful in planning menu, drinks, layout and coordinating with our vendors. We had 2 in-person meetings leading up to the big day and ongoing communication via email that was so helpful to make sure we had all of the details planned out. The day was so amazing and the staff was so kind, helpful and attentive. Bar staff was so on top of things and they were consistently checking on folks. We are so grateful for Detroit Fleat and would highly recommend them for a unique and personal wedding reception space, party venue, or spot to eat out and enjoy fun drinks :)

Can you say salt bomb. Chef - Lay off the salt. Had the cheesy potatoes - hash browns in cheesy grease nearly too salty to eat
They advertise food trucks, but there were no food trucks there. Just a small menu of various junk food. Won't be back.

Very cute place, love the outdoor space~ went for a book swap meet today. Bun for burger had mold on it, hair in my vegetarian scramble, awkward ordering as QR code only seemed to work w/apple phone. Def needs some quality control in the kitchen- won't be back. The food was good except the issues mentioned.
Parking: Their own lot, decent sized

Our company held an Employee Appreciation Event at Detroit Fleat a few weeks and I cannot say enough positive things!! Katie, one of the owners, responded quickly and was very patient with my many questions throughout the entire process. The venue itself is lovely with lots of indoor and outdoor space and on-site games to keep people entertained. I appreciate that Katie was willing to collaborate to plan an event that was within our budget. The event went flawlessly- the food and drinks were amazing, the staff super friendly and skilled at what they do, and everyone had an amazing time!! We will definitely consider Detroit Fleat for future company events! :)

Fun, stylish place in Ferndale. We sat outside for a happy hour and ate off the Middle Eastern food truck (can't recall the name right now). The food was excellent but pricey - e.g. $14 for a sandwich with no sides. Pricing on beer was similar, but lots of options and the servers were always around. Definitely will return on occasions.
Vegetarian options: On Wednesdays, the Middle Eastern food truck offers several vegetarian and vegan options - falafel and cucumber pita options, for instance.
Kid-friendliness: During happy hour we saw several families with even small kids. The place is relatively loud.
Wheelchair accessibility: Didn't see any restrictions for wheelchairs ... No steps/stairs, and very few if any doorjambs to get over.

After seeing Chanel's tiktok review my family and I decided to visit after our church service. Our first server acted as if she barely wanted to have our table. Once we placed our order on the app as instructed it took way to long to receive our food (burgers and fries) with only two other parties being at the restaurant, they weren't busy. We were given the excuse from a different server that the cheese was being melted on the burgers?. My husband was ready to leave but we gave them few more minutes to receive average tasting food. We definitely will not be returning.

Our first time here, Detroit Fleat didn’t disappoint! We were seated outside promptly, served ice water and menus to browse. (The outside area is fantastic, with plenty of seating and even cornhole boards) We ordered an IPA, chicken sliders, and the nachos. The food was served promptly and hot. The nachos were excellent with plenty of flavor, the chicken sliders with slaw hit the spot. If you’re in the area, give the Fleat a chance, it was great!
