I've been coming for years, and this is my faithful source for an amazing cup of coffee. Seriously, their drip is why you should love a cup of pure black coffee. It's flavorful—think bright, sunny, notes of tropical fruit. It's balanced, never bitter. The staff are so kind! Extra credit for the business promoting social care that aligns with my morals. What a beautiful, cozy, and warm coffee shop! Not only professional sweet service, but DELICIOUS coffee & CROISSANT to die for too! Staff greeted me with a smile once I walked in, asked how am I doing, then directly it felt like home. A place to chill, relax, enjoy coffee and company and you dont think of any problems. I work out in the community often doing home visits and today needed a place to stop close by, between visits. This was the best little gem to find! It was so quiet, which was great to allow me to do some work. I loved all the fun colors and decor. I was distracted by the items for purchase near the counter, and I was really excited to get rid of some books that have been taking up space in my car needing a home in a little free library.
I ordered a pumpkin chai, which was fantastic! Really hoping to come back if I am in this area again.

The cutest Ferndale establishment!! Also the coffee is fantastic. The staff is so friendly. Good vibes all around. No blasting music, perfect ambiance for cozy vibes or getting some work done. They have an outdoor area with hammocks and tables.

I love, love, love their lattes with their house made syrups. Sometimes I have ordered a new flavor worried it was going to be too sweet, but I have yet to have that be the case! And it's so cute inside! If you're driving here, just make sure you check whether the train is operating because I've gotten stuck by the train getting home before (not Drifter's fault tho).

Love Drifter! Best gf treats, it’s just SO cramped inside at peak hours and can make waiting for beverages to come out a little awkward … you’re either waiting in the seating area where it’s hard to hear baristas or you’re dodging around people in line / using the bathroom / going from behind the counter to another work area in the back. Really wish their planned move had worked out!
