The food was good and the service was very good! They make a pretty decent sandwich. Brookie and fries were good, but I think you can get a better sandwich other places.

This place is NEXT LEVEL! I never used to be a sandwich kinda guy but Hero or Villain has me converted. Everything on the menu is so freakin flavorful. Even the rotating specials knock it out of the park. Not to mention everyone who works there is a treat! My go-to lunch spot!

Best steak sub/sammich ive had in a Loooong time. Easily rivals the best ive had from a Maryland philly steak place. So good I actually missed it 20 mins after I devoured it. "A sammich is a type of sandwich. However, it is not just any kind of sandwich. Any old schmuck can throw lunchmeat between two slices of bread and have a sandwich. But no. A sammich is not just a sandwich, it is not just a meal. Sammich is a term reserved for only the holiest and mightiest of all sandwiches. A sammich is a true work of culinary art; a feast on a bun, if you will. A sammich is not made of the best ingredients; it is made of the *right* ingredients. It needs the right meats, and the right cheese(s), the right sauce, the right veggies, and the right kind of bread. Taking footlong sub bread and throwing every kind of meat and cheese and everything else under the sun or in your kitchen pantry on it does not a sammich make. It is akin to an incohesive mishmosh of colors on an artist's easel. Sandwiches make a good snack, but sammiches are forever. ❤

Awesome food truck in the Eastern Market, so I came home and googled the area I will for sure check out the restaurant.

First time at Hero or Villain after hearing of them for years as a local food truck. This is one of the best, reasonably priced, deli style sandwiches I’ve had in a long time. I got the Megaman add onions and fried egg, oh man!! Simple but flavorful. Not to mention the coleslaw and pickled veggie sides! I will be frequenting this local small business.

The food is good. They are sandwiches. I was excited to get food from here, I was vending at an event and was told this truck would be here, I was excited and checking out the menu. They let it be known that just the presence of my son and I looking at the menu wasn't welcome. And that they wouldn't be serving until one. I can back a few minutes later (not 1. Not even 12:45) and they were serving someone. Not cool. If you're a local food truck, keep in mind everyone who shows up is community. Be kind.

It was great to have a small deli in Treat Dreams. The sandwiches are reasonably priced until you start customizing for vegan cheese and seitan. Those could add up $2-5 dollars to a sandwich. The sandwiches themselves are good.
