Went there for drinks and some food. Everything was amazing. Definitely will be back yesterday. Happy to stumble upon this while in Ferndale really good food really reasonable price really enjoyed the place.
Me and my best friend searched seafood nearby. I'd heard of here b4 and luckily I gave it a shot. Our server was Ryan (the best!). Food was well seasoned without being greasy and still having a crunch. I have no complaints 😌
We love Cajun food, we love old buildings, and we loved Howe's Bayou. We came for a late lunch and had jambalaya (pretty spicy), blackened chicken, cornbread, whitefish dip, slaw, beans, and a Bell's. Terrific service, attractive presentation, and the decor is superb - many nods to the NoLa heritage and even a real tin ceiling. If we lived in the Detroit area we'd be back for sure!
