The owner however is a piece of work. We were told before hand that they could accommodate a party of 8 for a few hours to celebrate a birthday. Atleast 6 times, the owner himself came up to ruin one thing or another; we couldn’t get a section we were promised, we couldn’t pull tables together like we were promised… and eventually our wonderful waitress came up to us apologetically with the bill, telling us we had to cash out and leave. We were respectful, no louder than anyone else (on game day especially), we were buying food and drink continuously for the 3+ hours we were there.
The owner had a problem with us being there from the start, for no apparent reason to us, and made it his job to get us out. It’s your place so sure, but it’s ridiculous to be a Main Street bar, and treat a group of 8 innocent paying customers like this. Proudly never going back.

Always a fantastic time at J's! The service is amazing and the wings are the best out there! Thanks J's, love having such a chill place to hang in Ferndale! Editing to add, I hosted my hubby's 50th here last night, it was such a hit! Everyone was so accommodating and the staff is the best in town! Thanks J's for making his birthday party perfect with warm pies and cold beers! Stella took excellent care of our entire party! The best! ?

On keto with partner, and ordered takeout. We ordered two 1 lb. wings for $12 each. Turns out J's thinks that means only 6 wings per pound. From now on we'll just be going to a chain to order as no one should be paying $2 for a single chicken wing. Do better, and be honest with your clientele.Update: met the owner tonight randomly at Danny's. My review came up in conversation. Offered to talk about it and change my review and she told me to eff off. I've been a patron for years, but this solidified me no longer buying from there. Also, a full WHOLE wing weighs 3.5 ounces uncooked. I brought my receipts, be nasty to that.
