BBQ Mac. Awful. Like they dumped a bottle of liquid smoke on the pork. Cannot get the taste out of my mouth. Cheese sauce was bland/watery and did not stick to the noodles. What a waste of a fat Sunday meal

So after reading the comments I decided to go ahead and try! So I chose the Vegetarian Mac&Cheese, very creamy could use a rinse on the noodles, maybe some salt, very starchy and have no flavor so just taste like noodles however; the sauce from the cheese makes up for the taste, Then adding veggies that are seasoned good and no to the Pico de Gallo. I enjoyed it, I couldn’t eat all of it the portion was well enough. For those posting about your business experience, that’s not what this is for, that’s business we want to know if your liked the food your obviously trying to do business with. Was the food good apparently so, don’t bash them because they are busy??

The owner and his wife seems nice and their menu looks great, but after sending over a signed agreement, we didn't hear back for 6 days. They stated they were busy, which was understandable, but we moved forward with another food truck due to lack in communication.

First contact was via email on March 10th. Tracy said they were available for my event and would love to come. I emailed back to get details and have been ghosted. Ghosted via email, phone, text, messenger, Detroit Food Truck page and personal cell phone. Not a great way to do business.

House of Mac came to our grad party and everything was delicious! Our guests raved about the Mac and cheese choices and I only heard positive comments. The staff were super friendly and flexible when we ended up with more guests than expected. Great food truck!!

We had great food from the House of Mac. It was at the Dog and Pony and it was a great pairing. The barbecue mac was delicious and our kids loved it too. Thank you Dog and Pony and House of Mac! You make a great team.

The food is delicious! I love to sub out the mac and cheese and get the yummy toppings as cheese fries. Tex Mex with chicken is my favorite!!

Tried their food this past Sunday at the 5k and 10k event on Oakland University's main campus. Sooooo good! Tried the bbq mac n cheese. Very flavorful bbq seasoning and creamy mac n cheese.

If I could give zero stars, I would. The owner, Ben, is a total sleaze ball and a con artist.DO NOT BOOK THIS TRUCK FOR YOUR EVENT.Ben emailed me a canceled invoice 8 weeks before my wedding with no call or explanation. Never refunded my deposit and won’t return my calls or emails. I disputed the charge for the deposit with my credit card company and wouldn’t you know Ben had lots of time to fight my credit card company stating the charge was justified because I was aware of it....totally neglecting the fact that we will never receive the food or services we paid for. I am amazed that this clown is still in business considering the way he treats his customers.

OMG! The Bacon Made Me do it and Parmesan garlic fries are my family's favorite! The Parmesan fries are perfectly seasoned, there will be none left once you start eating. The Bacon made me do it is a perfect combination of fresh tomatoes, melted cheese, crisp green onion and the best Bacon Ever!!!! Make sure you check out Ben or Brian at this yummy food truck in Eastern Market every Saturday!

So I had the mini size schack made mac, I was excited about having mac and cheese. The first clue there was going to be a problem is when the container they handed me wasn't even warm. I thought great cold mac and cheese. Than when I opened it up to eat it It was disgusting. It was a big clump of cold noodles that had the worst taste to it, can't really descibe it other than a clump of cold, doughy noodles with no taste and three strands of I think shredded cheddar on top. Kraft mac and cheese is way better. I wish I could get a refund.

An average foodtruck and also the food. Ordered the "Cluck like a buffalo" Mac. It rang it at $8, clearly filling enough for lunch. The menu shows it comes with 4 toppings- spicy chicken, green onions, blue cheese and buffalo sauce. Do yourself a favor. Go here. You'll be changed forever, for the better.

Oh, Mac Shack, I wanted to love you. I love macaroni. I love cheese. I love them together. I finally tried yours, and it didn't live up to my expectations. It was lukewarm. It was bland. It was paste-y. There was cold shredded cheese on top, sucking up what little heat the macaroni had. My own mac & cheese is far better. (My Alfredo is legendary.) Heck, I'd rather eat Kraft. I'm confused and troubled at how you went wrong.Keep at it. I still want to love you. You can do this better, I know you can.
