Cool little place inside Tiger Lily. Great drinks. Great service, especially from Myles. Very knowledgeable about tiki drinks and culture. Also, he went way above and beyond to return my credit card, which I left behind. He remembered where we mentioned we were going for dinner, ran down the street and personally returned my card. Can't thank him enough for doing that. Definitely earned some return customers!

Impressive Tiki bar with knowledgeable and fun staff who are willing to go the extra mile for those who are genuinely interested in tiki cocktails! Relax, have fun, and be dazzled by the drinks these bartenders can make with a super well stocked bar.
Grab a few mugs on the way out as well!

When I went it was alittle slow but it was definitely great. Spicy Tuna Rolls where the best. Hands down. Tiki drinks and cups were on the money and as expected. Love the design of the bar, small and intimate.

I had very high hopes seeing the photos online. Atmosphere was way too bright, very small selection of tiki drinks that were not authentic, drinks were fair at best, sushi ok but nothing great.
Definitely do not recommend as there are far been options.

Great place and lovely bartenders but unsure why they have a DJ blaring horrible music. It was very hard to hear what the other person sitting across from me was saying and the place wasn’t even half full. Hang the DJ

Will is the best! He made a delicious dirty martini with the perfect amount of olives.

Mai Tiki is actually a hidden hole in the wall inside/behind the sushi place Tiger Lily. It's got a good tiki look, but they don't have tiki-style food (they just use the menu from the sushi place, which is rather expensive and not tiki at all).
When we were there, they told us they would soon be discontinuing their tiki drink menu also, which, to me, eliminates any reason to go to Mai Tiki at all.
We'll be going to Eastern Palace Club instead, next time, which is a much more authentic experience.

Jimmy & Christian were absolutely phenomenal bartenders and hosts! My coworker decided to stop in after a long shift and although the food took longer than anticipated (due to late opening because of private function- not Mai Tai’s fault) they were exceptional with going above and beyond to make up for the longer wait. We enjoyed the flavorful and strong cocktails while enjoying the atmosphere and music! We will surely be back!!

Wow! What can I say. Christian and Sarah provided a great experience for my husband and I. We’re new to the area and grabbed drinks after dinner. Sarah and Christian both recommended drinks based on what we were eating that would go well together. Sarah even helped craft a custom drink based on the vibe I’m feeling. They also provided great conversation and recommendations for other places in the neighborhood since we just moved in. We will definitely be back, especially if Christian and Sarah are working because of the experience they provided. Amazing!!!

Will you come in? It’s aesthetically pleasing very nice decor. The cups are cute. You feel a nice vibe, but the bartenders did not make you welcome no hi, hello, or welcome . They did not speak to us until it was 20 minutes in just sitting. Then they yelled at us from across the bar before coming to our table to take our order. Then it was to much of an inconvenience to bring our drinks to the table so we grab them our selves. We were so turned off by the service we left after one drink. For context it was not busy at all we were the only party there that hadn’t been served and it was only 3 groups of 2 or 3 people. Save your coin go somewhere nicer

Good drinks but you have to go up to the bartenders to order or they will completely ignore you. Like not even look at you to at least acknowledge your presence.
To whomever responded with "that's how a bar works", y'all had 2 other small parties at your location when we were present and we didn't even get a hi or welcome. Y'all also serve food. At least let people know that they have to order at the bar or put that on your menu. It's not hard to give good customer service. Many other small bars with few people in it give that common courtesy with no problem. They don't respond with "that's how a bar works" to further prove they don't care enough to at least apologize and offer constructive feedback instead thinking they're winning with snarky remarks. This isn't supposed to be a hole in the wall but it definitely wasn't an elevated experience.
