Went for breakfast with my nieces and sister. Food was excellent and the service was good. I gave a 4 because they brought a drink over filled and the server spilled a little of it. Other than that service was good.

I had the original cinnamon pancakes with strawberry butter, 2 scrambled eggs and 3 lamb chops. The pancakes were so good with a nice crispy buttery edge the way pancakes should be made lol. The lamb chops were amazing 10/10! The eggs were scrambled well. Really nice and fluffy but were unseasoned. I'm sure this is probably because so many people have dietary restrictions nowadays, but with a little salt and pepper they were just fine. I also had a mixed drink which was so good! They have lots of cocktail options all of which sounded great. The atmosphere and esthetic were great. Service was excellent. It was very busy but the staff still made you feel right at home. Food came out fairly quick considering how busy it was. The only difficult thing was the parking because the lot is small but I just waited for someone to leave and then pulled in while my friend went inside to put our names on the list. Another great hospitality thing was the fact that they call you when your table is ready! So we were able to sit in our car and wait as opposed to waiting inside. The wait for a table was not too long either. Overall my experience was 10/10 and when I go back to Detroit I will definitely visit again.

Atmosphere is nice but the food isn't that great and it's over priced the service is awful waited 30 minutes to get my drink an hour on my food had to wait another 30 minutes to get a refill on my drink

Even if a person is parking in the limited parking spaces available their policy all people need to be present. The bar is tight. The wait is unusually long. In tiny, tiny, tiny small font only seating at the bar is allowed at their so called Happy Hour, which is really sad. Flies and bugs flew into the seating space. The floor is nasty and unkempt. The manager was dismissive. Patrons need not be penalized because the place is too tight and the policy makes it worse.
Traveling and had to stop by’ The food was sooooo amazing ! I had the ultimate catfish & grits and it was sooo flavorful. I would definitely come back next time I’m in Detroit 😎

Made reservations online. After getting to Gratiot location, found they were closed. Called MaryBelles...lady who answered was apologetic and so nice. Eventhough the other location was closing soon, she accommodated us. When we arrived...the entire staff was so very nice. Best experience and great customer service. Food was just as good as the service!!!!!!
