Mezcal Mexican Bar & Kitchen

Ate here last night for Valentine’s Day date with my husband. First visit to this location and it was top notch! Our server Alejandro was attentive and on top of things and so friendly. Food and atmosphere was excellent and margaritas great. We will definitely be back ! ❤️

The Mezcal soup is some of the best soup I’ve had at a restaurant, but the rest of the food is overpriced and underwhelming. Tamales were tough & crunchy. Service is very good & the restaurant looks nice.

First-timer...though I welcomed upon entry, it didn't have a welcoming vibe. Moving forward, I'll only do carryout.

Not too many restaurants I want to revisit. Mezcal is not in that category. Not one bad thing I can say about it. Alejandro, our server was wonderful (and it was busy). He gave great suggestions. I had the wet burrito. Huge! Delicious! Left with leftovers. Moderately priced and great variety of food, drinks and appetizers to choose and all made in house. Was loud, but hey, a Saturday night; that's to be expected.

Cool decor inside! I ordered the torta (Mexican sandwich) with two toppings removed. I received it with both toppings on it that I requested to be without. Disappointed that the server didn’t check to make sure our food was correct before bringing to our table. The queso was good though.

Wheelchair accessibility: There were steps inside on the level we sat at so would not be accessible. Maybe there aren’t steps on the other side to dine?

I literally threw up at the table after eating, something wasn’t right. Possibly the can of blandly seasoned corn they heated in a microwave and called it street corn or the chips and queso that was so running (yet cold ) it dripped on everything. The food was worst than average, it was cold, bland , forgettable. They also charge a gratuity on bills over $100. Best advice DONT DINE HERE !!!

Online says open at 11 so when we get there the guy laughs and says no , we don't open till 11:30 so we left.

Really cool Cali Mexican restaurant... somewhat pricey but ok ..drinks are strong! And food is really good .service good but somewhat slow ..but restaurant is busy.so I understand..the tacos are really really good..rice .. refried beans..yummy.
