It's one of my favorite bars. Right in the heart of downtown Ferndale. It's an institution. It used to be a total dive, but it couldn't be more different today. It's a mecca for interesting people. It's always packed on the weekends, and there's always a bunch of fly honeys there. It's a great place to meet people, and it's much more than just a bar. They have a stage where people do stand-up, local bands that play live music, etc. The service is good, bartenders are totally cool, and they definitely take care of you if you take care of them, if ya know what I mean. You should def check it out, especially on a night where they have stand-up or live music. It's fun as hell. And I can't stress enough, how many fly honeys are always up in there. I highly recommend it, particularly in the summer. There's one more thing that makes New Way, and all the bars and restaurants on Woodward unique. There's a winding network of alleyways behind all the bars and restaurants on Woodward. Most of the places have back doors that open up to the alleyways behind Woodward, so you can meander through the alleys, from place to place, bar crawling all night long. In the summer, there are HUNDREDS of people in the alleys, going from place to place, partying, congregating, etc. There's even like underground nightclubs or raves throughout the alleys, often in high up, expensive lofts. I don't know who you gotta know to get in there, but I wanna know 😅 Anyway. Great place and great area to have a great time.
