Red Olive Restaurant - Ferndale

Stopped in for a quick bite and had such a nice lunch. I think having such a great wait staff really adds something to an already good place to eat.

Brie was very attentive and kind while we ate. Got the Avocado Ranch burger with the veggie patty instead and it was good. their hummus is a little bland but everything else was good. big selection of stuff to chose from and has something for just about anyone. Service was the best part of it tho

Just had to write about the fantastic way and customer service I received at this restaurant. If you get a chance dine in and get the server Shannon, you will get brilliant customer service, and attention to detail is outstanding. Plus the delicious food which is cooked perfectly. 150% Red Olive

We were a party of 14. Our food was prepared perfectly and in reasonable timeliness! And our request for separate checks was taken care of!

Breakfast sandwich was horrible. Bread was hard and tasted old. The pickle on the side looked like a bite was taken out of it. I also asked for an egg on my BLT which was missing. Will never buy anything from here again.

The restaurant itself was decent... The presents of dirty tables and menus from the night before we're a bit unsettling but that wasn't the worse.. the meat was all BAD! not long after returning home my sister myself and my nephew were all sick. The ham I ordered had an expired like smell but I thought maybe it was the smell in general lol nope I was wrong. First time there and last time back I'll stick to waffle House and IHOP where atleast the meat isn't spoiled

The best Red Olive in Michigan! Super fresh salad! I ordered a fattoush with feta. Every bite was delicious. My waitress was awesome. Very personable and attentive. I think her is Monica! She's the best! It was a nice treat to have a very fresh salad from a diner. Thanks Red Olive of Ferndale. I'll be back soon!

Delicious and inexpensive

We had a good dinner. But, I did see something at the restaurant that I didn't like. A party of 6 came in and they didn't give them menus, no server approached them. Another large party came in after the party of 6 and they were waited on immediately. The party of 6 got up and left. I heard the hostess say, well they just showed up without a reservation. We didn't have a reservation either. As someone that has worked in the restaurant industry for 16 years, I thought this was appalling. There were other options that could have taken place. As a business, it would seem they would want to keep all their customers and do what is necessary.
