Saw me walking by eyeing their pastries and chased me down to give me a complimentary baguette. I’d give them a 10/10
We absolutely love walking here every week; eating danishes on the way home, it's a great way to start the day.

I have never once in all my years as a customer gotten home and thought... I've bought too much bread from the Secret Bakery.
It's easily some of the best food you can put in your mouth. Just stop in and buy something to eat already, you've been reading this review for too long.

The prices are good and reasonable and the baked goods are SPECIAL. Both savory and sweet items taste delicious and have a great texture. Never bought anything doughy or overbaked here. I really like more special and different items and breads. Service always friendly and welcoming as well! I wish they could stay open later but I know that's not always possible with bakeries.
This is hands down the best bakery I’ve ever found! It’s truly my happy place on Saturday and Wednesday mornings. Stepping inside feels like walking into your grandma’s kitchen—the warm, comforting aroma of fresh bread and pastries is incredible. Max and his team are absolutely amazing!

Everything was great. Especially loved the egg bread. When bakeries add eggs to their bread like that, it often lacks salt to compensate for it. This was perfect.
Pretzels looked giant and fluffy. They’re connected to a coffee and sandwich shop next door that also looked great. Will definitely come back for more! Wish they were open more days.

Hands down, some of the best fresh baked goods I've ever experienced in my mouth. The weekly table bread is my favorite. Always coming with unique herb and flavor blends. It's such a cute spot inside and all of the staff are nothing but kind and pleasant. The prices are modest and the vibes are GOOD. Thankful this place exists. 🖤

Great bread and baked goods! I love the burnt wheat chocolate chip cookies a lot!! They should make the large foccacia loaves again, my girlfriend hasn't brought one home in a while...

I am so grateful that Secret Bakery opened in my neighborhood! The thoughtful offerings and unmatched quality are something to look forward to on the days they open. Olive fougasse is a personal favorite and I always like to try the savory danish to enjoy on my way home. The staff is always welcoming and friendly. The shop is clean and well kept.
I will say though, the “secret” is out so get there early to secure what you’re craving because they run out quickly.

If you’re looking for flavorful bread this is your spot!! The egg danish and sourdough bread are my go to items. The staff is always warm and welcoming! They take the time to answer any questions regarding the menu. Get there early to grab a loaf (they sell out early!)

This is not regarding the food. I didn’t have a chance to try it…
I walked in at 8:58. Note, “I walked in”, meaning their front door was unlocked.
There’s no sign denoting open or closed, psst it’s a secret…
Several folks greet me. Smelled very good.
A woman w/ short blond hair comes forward and politely informs me that they will be opened at 9, “in a few minutes”. Says this while tapping her watch.
I check my watch and it’s a 8:58.
My heart is warmed that business is so good in Ferndale! Salute.
If the bakery is still in business next time I’m in town visiting family I will give it a whirl.
I went to Warda instead. Worth the drive!

Love the vibe of this secret bakery. Staff was very friendly. We sat outside to eat at some cute tables. The danishes were very very good. Need to come back to try the loaves!
