I like to patronize black business, but this was the most ghetto black restaurant I've been to in a while. I had chicken and waffles which took 30 minutes to come out. My waffles were burned and my chicken had no seasoning. The hostess had to attend to her child in between tables and was drinking a cocktail as well. I must say I will continue to patronize black businesses, but this was a bit much and they definitely in need of some training. I won't be back to this establishment....read full review
It's always going to be somebody to complain about nothing. The world is full of negative people who won't say anything wrong about other races. My food was hot and delicious; I didn't need more seasoning!
I want to give 5 stars very badly, but I have to be fair.The food is the hail Mary for this spot. Just good ol scratch cookin. You can tell. It was delicious, and based on the food alone, I can overlook everything else and confidently say well be back! We had: grits. Pancakes, salmon croquettes, biscuits with regular sausage gravy, french toast, and waffles. All delicious. The grits were so creamy it blew my mind. There's no was she used water to make those!
